Starlight898 Help! Please identify this plant for me! Apr 22, 2011 10:51 AM Hi, my lovely boyfriend bought me this plant but I don't know what it is! I'd like to know what it's called and any info I might need to take care of it. Thanks!
Pippa27 Help me makeover this space! Oct 25, 2010 2:48 PM We have just moved to this Victorian house (well, ground floor flat of!) in central London. We have a garden out the back but i want to make the front of the house here more inviting. At the moment - see above- it looks so scruffy and depressing. Any ideas please? There's about 3feet of space between the miserable looking wall and the window. The tiles are Victorian but might need cleaning. Thanks x
hvnly34 Herb and Veggies Garden Jul 23, 2007 12:35 PM I live in a city where I have to drive nearly a half an hour to get quality produce. Yesterday I wanted mojitos very badly and I went to 4 grocery stores before I found some mint. Consequently, I am very interested in starting an herb garden for sure, but perhaps a veggie garden as well. I live in Michigan, so I am thinking that if I could do an herb garden that could survive indoors during the winter that would be fabulous. Any ideas?
Casio BP Seeds May 31, 2007 1:23 PM Lately, BP gas stations have had the cutest commercials. Well, over the weekend my husband gave me a present from BP. They have free packets of sunflower seeds! There is a cute picture of a little girl on the front, too.:)
Casio Lil' Flower Beds May 31, 2007 1:21 PM I have three flower beds. One along the side of our house up to our front door and, two around our back patio. Mostly, I have heirloom plants. They have been given to me by neighbors, co-workers, etc... I have a yucca from my Grandma's yard. (I'm hoping it lived through a transplant and the hot weather we've been having.) My mom is going to give me some tiger lilies that she has. I absolutely LOVE tiger lilies. I have the most of lilies, irises, and hostas. I have peonies (they didn't bloom this year, hum?), tansley, spiderwort, painted daisies, black-eyed susan, regular daisies, lamb's ear, columbine, wild wondering jew, mums, and three rose bushes. Most of what I have picked because I liked. I've been luck that they all compliment each other seasonally. I want to start a window box with herbs. Give me any tips OR ask me any questions.
